     Nelson Price Whitaker was born in October 1873 at Principio Furnace, Cecil County, Maryland.1 He was the son of Cecil Newton Whitaker and Mary Elizabeth McDowell. Nelson Price Whitaker married Stella Rusling in 1900 at Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.1 Nelson Price Whitaker died in June 1922 at Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia, at age 48 years and 8 months.1 He was buried in the Swan Point Cemetery, located in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island.1
