     Dorothy G. Williams was born on 4 October 1917 at Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Melvin Bertie Williams and Margaret Ann Updegraff. Dorothy G. Williams married, at age 22, Winfield Lewis Kiess, age 28, son of Reuben Kiess and Emily Estella Cline, on Friday, 10 November 1939 at Lycoming Christian Church Parsonage, Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Howard L. Krause.1 Dorothy G. Williams died on 2 October 1991 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Mahoning Township, Montour County, Pennsylvania, at age 73 years, 11 months and 28 days.2 She was buried in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, located in Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
