     Josephine Cecilia Whitaker was born on 29 October 1859 at Honey Brook, Chester County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of John G. Whitaker and Mary C. Yost.1 Josephine Cecilia Whitaker married, at age 31, Charles S. Murr, age 20, son of David S. Murr and Susan Troop, on Wednesday, 20 May 1891 at Evangelical United Brethren Church, Quincy, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.1 Josephine Cecilia Whitaker died on 3 December 1935 at Loag's Corner, Elverson, Chester County, Pennsylvania, at age 76 years, 1 month and 4 days.1 She was buried in lot #50, in the Bridgeville Evangelical Christian Curch Cemetery, located in Chester County, Pennsylvania.1
