     Charles Elmer Waltz was born on 31 December 1916 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3,1,2 He was the son of Elias Harvey Waltz and Margaret Matilda Ulmer.2 Charles Elmer Waltz married, at age 25, Vida Belle Fink, age 24, daughter of William Arthur Fink and Miriam G. Sweeley, on Saturday, 5 December 1942 at Heshbon Evangelical United Brethren Church, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 Charles Elmer Waltz died on 24 February 1988 at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 71 years, 1 month and 22 days.3,1,2 He was buried on 27 February 1988 in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3,2
     He was employed at Bethlehem Steel as well as doing some general farming between 1937 and 1982.
