     Eliza Ann Whitaker was born on 23 January 1833.1 She was the daughter of Francis Asbury Whitaker and Leah Evans. Eliza Ann Whitaker married, at age 20, Charles Tilden Simpers, age 32, son of Johnson Simpers and Millicent Ford, on Wednesday, 4 May 1853.1
     Eliza Ann Whitaker and Charles Tilden Simpers had at least six children all of which died unmarried.
