     Van Lynn Goedeking is the son of Melvin Armin Karl Goedeking and Goldie Virginia Wright.2 Van Lynn Goedeking first married Cinda Faye Poffenbarger, age 20, daughter of William John Poffenbarger and Martha Ellen Moyer, on Saturday, 13 May 1967 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Marysville, Union County, Ohio, by the Reverend Edward Johannes Goedeking. Van Lynn Goedeking and Cinda Faye Poffenbarger were divorced on 20 March 1990. Van Lynn Goedeking married a second time Linda Gale Chauncey, daughter of Jesse Alton Chauncey and Mathilde Marie Plein, on Saturday, 20 June 1998 at Smith Gardens, Oakwood, Montgomery County, Ohio.
