Goldie Virginia Wright was born on 22 July 1915 at Clinton, Custer County, Oklahoma.1 She was the daughter of Aaron Wallace Wright and Segred Marie Pearson.1 Goldie Virginia Wright first married, at age 18, Harold Dodd, age 21, son of Riley Dodd and Maggie Ward, on Saturday, 7 October 1933 by the Reverend Joseph A. Mears. Goldie Virginia Wright married a second time, at age 23, Melvin Armin Karl Goedeking, age 28, son of Gustave Johannes Friedrich Goedeking and Wilhelmina Christine Remmert, on Saturday, 15 October 1938 at Marysville, Union County, Ohio.1 Goldie Virginia Wright died on 23 June 2012 at age 96 years, 11 months and 1 day.
She appeared on the census of 13 January 1920 in the household of Aaron Wallace Wright and Segred Marie Pearson at Hamilton Township, Sullivan County, Indiana. Goldie Virginia Wright worked for Hazen G. Werner a minister in Dayton before she got married in 1938. She was a stenographer, housewife and mother. She and Melvin Armin Karl Goedeking lived at 5725 Cottontail Court, Dayton, Ohio, between 1965 and 2003.
