Mary Dell Burson was born on 28 August 1857 at Jerseyville (later Shade), Athens County, Ohio.1 She was the daughter of John Burson and Sarah Louise Creamer. Mary Dell Burson married, at age 20, David L. Sleeper, age 21, son of John Sleeper and Lucy Branch, on Wednesday, 7 November 1877 at Athens County, Ohio.1 Mary Dell Burson died on 26 December 1931 at Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, at age 74 years, 3 months and 28 days.1 She was buried Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma.1
