Murphy married, at age 25, Alice Maude Morrison, age 26, daughter of Edmund Walter Morrison and Ada Leonore Pope, on Wednesday, 11 September 1912 at Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska.1 Ray C. Murphy died on 14 May 1950 at Greeley, Weld County, Colorado, at age 63 years, 4 months and 11 days.1
