Edmund Walter Morrison was born on 26 September 1860 at Somerset, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of William Frederick Morrison and Virginia Lucinda Lichtenberger. Edmund Walter Morrison married, at age 24, Ada Leonore Pope, age 24 on Tuesday, 28 April 1885 at Bradshaw, York County, Nebraska.1 Edmund Walter Morrison died on 14 October 1925 at Bayard, Morrill County, Nebraska, at age 65 years and 18 days.1
He became a widower at the age of 55 with the death of Ada on 3 December 1915.1
