Agnes Stäbler
F, (16 April 1802 - 1846)
- Relationship
- 3rd great-granddaughter of Hans Stäbler
Agnes Stäbler was born on 16 April 1802 at Leinfelden, Oberamt Esslingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg. She was the daughter of Johann Michael Stäbler and Anna Katharina Heimerdinger. Agnes Stäbler married, at age 32, Heinrich Kettenring, age 32 on Tuesday, 31 March 1835 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 Agnes Stäbler died in 1846 at Scott County, Iowa, at age 43 years.1
The Stäblers were in Blooming Grove, Lycoming County, PA as early as 1817. They belonged to the Dunkard Church, although Henry and Agnes were married in a Lutheran ceremony. The Lutherans did not have a church in Hepburn Township in 1835, so it is likely that the marriage took place at the home of the bride. It was probably done by the Rev. Schultze, who also resided in the area.
