     Joanna Pepperman was born on 7 January 1861 at Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of William Baird Pepperman and Susan Catherine Zonchler. Joanna Pepperman married Wilson Kiess, son of Andrew J. Kiess and Sarah Jane Kress, circa 1895.1 Joanna Pepperman died on 30 January 1953 at age 92 years and 23 days.1 She was buried in the Woodward Township Cemetery, located in Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
     Joanna Pepperman was also known as Hannah. She appeared on the census of 30 August 1870 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
