Margaretha Rote1

Margaretha Rote was born on 11 June 1809 at Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Francis Rote and Mary Welliver. Margaretha Rote married, at age 23, William Kiess, age 24, son of Christopher Kiess and Christina Sheets, on Thursday, 24 January 1833 by Jacob Grafius Esquire, Justice of the Peace.2,1 Margaretha Rote died on 24 September 1851 at Crawford County, Ohio, at age 42 years, 3 months and 13 days.1
