     Fred C. Gehr was born on 17 December 1884.1 He was the son of Jacob Gehr and Catharina Regina Ludwig. Fred C. Gehr married Edna Shafer, daughter of Ephraim Shafer and Melinda Koch, in 1917.2 Fred C. Gehr died on 11 August 1955 at Pleasant Valley, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 70 years, 7 months and 25 days.2 He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
