Mahlon F. Ulmer was born on 27 September 1891 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Daniel J. Ulmer and Matilda Heim. Mahlon F. Ulmer married, at age 24, Elizabeth H. Smithgall, age 24, daughter of Jacob B. Smithgall and Rachel A. Entz, on Thursday, 29 June 1916.1 Mahlon F. Ulmer died on 12 November 1970 at Washington, District of Columbia, at age 79 years, 1 month and 16 days.1 He was buried in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
