     Thomas Augustus Wilson Updegraff was born on 23 June 1849 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Thomas Updegraff and Rebecca Raiguel.1,2 Thomas Augustus Wilson Updegraff married, at age 25, Jerusha Campbell, age 20, daughter of Ebenezer Brown Campbell and Encie Depui, on Thursday, 11 February 1875 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend T. E. Clapp.1 Thomas Augustus Wilson Updegraff died on 2 November 1940 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 91 years, 4 months and 10 days.1
     He was a salesman for a lumber company. He appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Thomas Updegraff and Rebecca Raiguel at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Thomas Augustus Wilson Updegraff and Jerusha Campbell appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 at Williamsport, 6th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Thomas Augustus Wilson Updegraff and Jerusha Campbell appeared on the census of 20 April 1910 at Philadelphia, 24th Ward, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Augustus left a will - Will Book #27, page 29, made 3 Mar 1934, registared on 27 Jan 1942 - Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
