Reuben David Ulmer

     Reuben David Ulmer was born on 13 January 1879 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of David C. Ulmer and Elizabeth Barbara Bauer. Reuben David Ulmer married, at age 25, Margaret E. Bidelspacher, age 23, daughter of Christian Jacob Bidelspacher and Catharina Waltz, on Wednesday, 3 February 1904.2 Reuben David Ulmer married, at age 43, Salome Anne Shafer, age 51, daughter of Frederick Schäffer and Dorothea Heim, in June 1922.3 Reuben David Ulmer died on 13 June 1966 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 87 years and 5 months.3 He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He was Farmer. He He was born and died in the original log house at the side of the road as one goes East on the road to the Blooming Grove Dunkard Church. His ancestors built this house and handed it down through the family.
