Thelma Arlene Quigle1,2

     Thelma Arlene Quigle was born on 16 November 1923 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3,2 She was the daughter of Bert E. Quigle and Mary Eugenia Roupp.1,2 Thelma Arlene Quigle married, at age 20, Ralph Elwood Kinley, son of William Boyd Kinley and Rachel Dora Waltz, on Friday, 24 December 1943 at Maple Springs Evangelical Church, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 Thelma Arlene Quigle died on 5 February 2007 at Sycamore Manor, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 83 years, 2 months and 20 days.2
     As of 2003, Thelma Arlene Quigle lived in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1

     The obituary dated on 18 April 2003 for Ethel H. Quigle from in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, listed Thelma Arlene Quigle as her sister.1 Her obituary was published on 6 February 2007 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Thelma A. Kinley, 83, of 1925 Sweeley Ave., died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at Sycamore Manor following a lengthy illness.

Thelma and her husband, Ralph E. Kinley observed their 63rd anniversary Dec. 24.

Thelma was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the former chair of the flower committee. She was a 1941 graduate of Williamsport High School, a former Girl Scout leader, a loving wife and a wonderful mother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, taking care of their home and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Born Nov. 16, 1923 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Bert E. and Mary Eugenia Roupp Quigel.

Surviving besides her husband are a son, Wayne E. (Dianna) of Jersey Shore; a daughter, Joan M. (John) Eck of Williamsport; brothers, Bert E. (Dorothy) Quigel Jr. of Cogan Station and James P. Quigel of Williamsport; grandchildren, Stacey Imler, Shannon Farnham, Michael Justice-Eck and Kathleen Holmes; and great grandchildren, Justin, Jace, Jaron, Madison, Maya, Jackson and Simon.

Thelma was predeceased by sisters, Irma Quigel, Mary Maietta and Ethel Alexander, and a brother, Henry Quigel.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 1971 Lycoming Creek Road, with Rev. Dr. James R. Behrens officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the church in Thelma’s memory. Knight-Confer Funeral Home.2
