     George Updegraff was born in 1868.1 He was the son of Nathan G. Updegraff and Elizabeth Sarah [—?—]. George Updegraff married Hester Hettie Morris, daughter of William Morris and Sarah [—?—], on Monday, 29 October 1888 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 George Updegraff died on 18 November 1924 at Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 56 years.1
     He died intestate - Petition for Letters of Administration on 20 Dec 1924 Lycoming County, Pennsylvania to Harry L. Eder for 30 acres in Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania and a small frame house.1
