Clara Jane Updegraff was born in August 1866.1 She was the daughter of Nathan G. Updegraff and Elizabeth Sarah [—?—]. Clara Jane Updegraff married, at age 21, William K. Winder, son of Aaron A. Winder and Malinda Stryker, on Wednesday, 18 January 1888 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend J. A. Wood.1 Clara Jane Updegraff married William Harry Guisewhite, son of Joseph Guisewhite and Sarah Hassinger, in 1897.1
