Esther M. Reeser was born on 20 September 1915 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Ezra J. Reeser and Tracey E. Kiess. Esther M. Reeser married Beauford S. Hensler, son of John Elmer Hensler and Cora Etta Winner, circa 1945. Esther M. Reeser died on 2 December 2001 at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 2 months and 12 days.1 She was buried on 5 December 2001 in the Saint John's Chapel Cemetery, located in Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
Her obituary was published on 4 December 2001 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Esther M. Hensler, 86, formerly of the Salladasburg area, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, in Valley View Nursing Center. Her husband, Beauford S., died June 14, 1981.
She had worked with her husband on the family farm near Salladasburg. She was a member of St. John's Chapel United Methodist Church; she was an avid quilter and enjoyed canning.

Surviving are sons, Kenneth L. and David E. of Salladasburg and Dwane E. of Lock Haven; a sister, Hazel Schuyler of Turbotville; three grandchildren and two great-grandsons. A son, Forrest W., died Oct. 26, 1997 and she was also predeceased by brothers John and James Reeser.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., with Rev. Craig Schaefer officiating. Visitation 10-11 Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment in the church cemetery. The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions to the cemetery fund, c/o Dale Wurster, Treasurer, 1900 A Ravine Road, Apt. 224, Williamsport, PA 17701.2
