Lydia Updegraff was born in December 1767.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Updegraff and Mary Hussey. Lydia Updegraff married, at age 17, Caleb Kirk Jr., age 25, son of Caleb Kirk and Elizabeth [—?—], on Wednesday, 22 June 1785 at Warrington Meeting, York County, Province of Pennsylvania, USA. Lydia Updegraff died on 29 August 1837 at Smithfield, Jefferson County, Ohio, at age 69 years and 8 months.1
