Gina Lynne Drick was born on 13 April 1956.1 She was the daughter of Clifford Drick and Ruby Myers.1 Gina Lynne Drick married R. Thomas Derone III in 1988.1 Gina Lynne Drick died on 13 June 2004 at Hadlow Hospice Center, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, at age 48 years and 2 months.1
Her obituary was published on 18 June 2004 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Gina Lynne Derone, 48, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Hadlow Hospice Center, Jacksonville, Fla., after a brave battle with cancer. Her husband was at her side.
Gina was originally from Montoursville and lived in the Holly Oaks area of Jacksonville. She worked for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, and previously worked for Manpower Temporary Services.
Mrs. Derone leaves to mourn her husband of 16 years, R. Thomas Derone III; father, Clifford Drick; son, R. Thomas Derone IV (11); daughter, Abigail Lynne Derone (13); brother, Jerry Drick of Pennsylvania; sister, Sharon King; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Saturday, June 19, at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida (Hadlow Center), or Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville.
