Clifford Drick

     Clifford Drick was born on 21 June 1923 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Charles Edward Drick and Carrie L. Gatz. Clifford Drick married Ruby Myers, daughter of Royal Bussler Myers and Pearl Bertha Waltz, circa 1947.1 Clifford Drick died on 3 April 2010 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 9 months and 13 days.
     His obituary was published on 6 April 2010 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Clifford E. Drick, 86, a resident at Sycamore Manor, and formerly of Montoursville, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Sycamore Manor. He was born June 21, 1923 in Montoursville a son of Charles and Carrie Gatz Drick.

     He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Montoursville. Cliff was involved in the automobile business for many years in auto body repair and sales. He enjoyed meeting people and the many friends and acquaintances he made over the years. In retirement he thoroughly enjoyed woodworking and restoring antiques for family and friends. While at Sycamore Manor he became close friends with the kind and caring staff and they were greatly appreciated.

     On Sept. 27, 1993 Cliff was predeceased by his wife, the former Ruby M. Myers. He is also predeceased by his daughter, Gina Derone; sisters, Ruth Metzger, Pauline Drick, and by a brother, Harold.

     Cliff is survived by a son, Gerald E. (Belinda) Drick of Montoursville; a daughter, Sharon K. (Don) King of Montoursville; a son-in-law, Tom Derone of Montoursville; five grandchildren, Chris (Sue) King, Karen (Steve) Simms, Kate Drick, Abbie Derone, Tommy Derone, and five great grandchildren, Ben, Caroline, Jacob, Greyson, and Kendall.

     Family and friends are invited to a graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 7 at Montoursville Cemetery with Chaplain George Spencer officiating. There will be no visitation.

     In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sycamore Manor Volunteer Fund, 1445 Sycamore Rd., Montoursville, PA 17754. Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.2
