     Lawrence Emerson Waltz was born on 3 May 1892 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Wilhelm G. Waltz and Margaret Elizabeth Bower. Lawrence Emerson Waltz first married Elsie Marie Decker, daughter of William A. Decker and Alice S. Kuemmerle, circa 1922.3 Lawrence Emerson Waltz married a second time, at age 42, Ora Marian Winter, age 28 on Thursday, 21 June 1934.4 Lawrence Emerson Waltz died on 21 May 1980 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 88 years and 18 days.1 He was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4
     He was the principal of George Becht School at Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He appeared on the census of 28 April 1910 in the household of Wilhelm G. Waltz and Margaret Elizabeth Bower at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Lawrence Emerson Waltz was graduated circa 1917 from Pennsylvania State University, located in State College, Centre County, Pennsylvania. According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Lawrence's last known residence was Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
