Sarah Waltz was born on 28 March 1853 at Cascade Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Abraham Waltz and Barbara Burghardt. Sarah Waltz married Mathäus Mutschler, son of David Mutschler and Sarah Entz, circa 1872. Sarah Waltz died on 26 March 1890 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 36 years, 11 months and 26 days. She was buried in the Balls Mills Cemetery, located in Balls Mills, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
