Thelma Ruth Kiess was born on 1 April 1904 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Edward E. Kiess and Regina Elizabeth Heim. Thelma Ruth Kiess married, at age 21, Lee Roy Eck, age 32 on Wednesday, 27 May 1925.1 Thelma Ruth Kiess died on 23 February 1986 at Muncy Valley Hospital, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, at age 81 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was buried in the Saint John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, located in Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
