Sweeley married, at age 24, Alice M. Hetner, age 22, daughter of Samuel F. Hetner and Anne Steichter, on Wednesday, 22 November 1911 at Memorial Baptist Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Roger H. Williams.1
