Samuel F. Hetner1

     Samuel F. Hetner was born on 9 September 1861 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of Daniel Hetner and Catharina Waltz. Samuel F. Hetner married, at age 25, Anne Steichter, age 24 on Wednesday, 13 July 1887.2,1 Samuel F. Hetner died in 1914 at age 52 years. He was buried in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He appeared on the census of 10 June 1880 in the household of Daniel Hetner and Margaret Robinson at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Samuel F. Hetner was a farmer in 1890. Samuel is a member of the Baptist Church and a Democrat in politics. He has been engaged in farming in partnership with his brothers, Henry and Elwood, under the firm name of Hetner Brothers, for several years. He and Anne Steichter appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
