Elsie Ohnmeiss was born on 3 November 1932 at Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She married John Ellsworth Fink, son of Walter G. Fink and Margaret S. Aderhold, circa 1972.1 Elsie Ohnmeiss died on 24 January 2004 at her residence, Cogan Station, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 71 years, 2 months and 21 days.1
Her obituary was published on 26 January 2004 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Elsie M. Fink, 71, of 109 Pleasant Valley Road, Cogan Station, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at her home following an extended illness. Her husband, John E. Fink, died June 21, 1994.
Elsie retired in 1993 from the Stroehmann Roll Plant on Lycoming Creek Road, after 30 years of service.
Born Nov. 3, 1932, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of Harold F. and Irene E. Bertin Ohnmeiss.
Surviving are her stepfather, Marlin A. Marshall of Antes Fort; son, John L. Ohnmeiss of Elizabethtown; daughter, Debbie C. Harvey of Stevenson, Wash; stepson, Edward Fink of Cogan Station; stepdaughters, Patricia Beaver of Cogan Station, and Peggy Livermore and Christine Hauke, both of Williamsport; brothers, Harold F. Ohnmeiss of Angola, N.Y., James W. Ohnmeiss of Wichita, Kan., Edwin C. Ohnmeiss of Derry, N.Y., William L. Ohnmeiss of Irving, N.Y., Marlin A. Marshall, Jr. of Jersey Shore, Gary L. Marshall of Williamsport and Donald R. Marshall; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Shook and Sandra L. Winters, both of Trout Run, Shirley Jean Tanner of Williamsport and Carol Hamilton of Antes Fort; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Bertin, a sister, Clara Emert, and a great grandson, Zackary Ryan Derr.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Ave. Burial will be in Stoltz Cemetery, Hepburn Twp. Visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will provide the flowers.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.1
