Johann Heim was born on 18 July 1836 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Johannes Christian Heim and Rosina Wagner. Johann Heim married Margaretha Heim, daughter of Jacob Heim and Regina Rachael Steiger, circa 1861.1 Johann Heim died on 14 April 1916 at Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska, at age 79 years, 8 months and 27 days.1 He was buried in the Heim Cemetery, located in Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.
He They lived on a farm in Blooming Grove until 1881 when they sold their land and moved to Dawson, NE. Here they bought a farm about one half mile north of town. The Heim cemetery is located on land once in this farm. Both John and Margaret are buried in the Heim Cemetery. He was a farmer.
