Christian Heim was born on 7 March 1799 at Möhringen, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Jacob Heim and Christina Gohl. Christian Heim was christened in 1813. He died on 10 February 1885 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 85 years, 11 months and 3 days.1
He Unmarried. Christian was known as 'Fetter' (uncle) who lived with his brother Jacob and family for many years. He was so very stooped from hard work that his nephews did not know how tall a man he really was.
