David B. Waltz was born on 11 July 1840. He was the son of George Waltz and Katharina Strobel. David B. Waltz married, at age 23, Margaretha Heim, age 23, daughter of Gottlieb Heim and Margaretha Steiger, on Thursday, 26 May 1864.1 David B. Waltz died on 1 March 1927 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years, 7 months and 18 days. He was buried in the Mound Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
