     John George Eckard was born on 8 July 1896 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 He was the son of Abraham M. Eckard and Mary J. Kaiser.1 John George Eckard married, at age 30, Irene Butler, age 21 on Monday, 20 June 1927.4 John George Eckard died on 4 September 1941 at age 45 years, 1 month and 27 days. He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He was in military service during World War I circa 1918.4
