George W. Kehrer was born in 1915. He was the son of Walter Edward Kehrer and Carrie A. Winter. George W. Kehrer married Eleanor Irene Carl, daughter of Lynn B. Carl and Carrie Krise, on Sunday, 13 July 1952. George W. Kehrer died on 3 April 2001 at age 86 years. He was buried in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

George W. Kehrer, 86, of 771 Glenwood Ave., Williamsport, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, in Williamsport Hospital. He and his wife, the former Eleanor Carl, were married July 13, 1952. Mr. Kehrer was a graduate of Williamsport High School.
He was Financial Aid Director for Williamsport Area Community College. He was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, an Army veteran of WWII, and a member of the Wheel Inn, Ralston. Surviving in addition to his wife are a brother-in-law, Dr. Kenneth E. Carl of this city; a nephew, Raymond E. Kehrer, Jr., of this city; three nieces, Joann Ertel of DuBoistown, Marilyn Seeling of Trout Run and Susan Best of this city.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sanders', 821 Diamond St., with his former pastor, the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Close and his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Dennis L. Otto officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 1-2 p.m. Friday. The family will provide the flowers.
