Dorothy Lillian Pepperman1,2,3

     Dorothy Lillian Pepperman was born on 7 February 1914 at Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Harry Mortimer Pepperman and Nellie Emma Hayes.1 Dorothy Lillian Pepperman married Emery Elwood Plank, son of George Benjamin Plank and Margaret Ellen Waltz, circa 1933.1 Dorothy Lillian Pepperman died on 3 November 2002 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 88 years, 8 months and 27 days.1,2 She was buried on 6 November 2002 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
     She appeared on the census of 2 April 1930 in the household of Harry Mortimer Pepperman and Nellie Emma Hayes at Upper Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary was published on 5 November 2002 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Dorothy L. Plank, 88, a resident of Manor Care Health Services North, and formerly of Kehrer Hill Road, Montoursville, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002, at the Williamsport Hospital. She was born Feb. 7, 1914, in Upper Fairfield Twp., the daughter of Harry and Nellie (Hayes) Pepperman.

     Mrs. Plank was a member of Heilman United Methodist Church, and the widow of Emery E. Plank, who preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1999.

     She is survived by two sons, Elwood E. (Dorothy) Plank of Montoursville and Carl L. (Marian) Plank of Montoursville; a brother, Harry M. Pepperman of Montoursville; two sisters, June Springman of Montoursville and Lois Young of Williamsport. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

     The funeral will be on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Rev. Connie A. Waugh, her pastor officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park.

     In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Heilman United Methodist Church, 2792 Kehrer Hill Road, Montoursville, PA 17754.1
According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Dorothy's last known residence was Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2

     The obituary from on 3 July 2006 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, for June Helen Pepperman listed Dorothy Lillian Pepperman as her deceased sister.3
