Kenneth Earl Ressler was born on 25 May 1921 at Cogan Station, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of John Ressler and Carrie Waltz. Kenneth Earl Ressler married Margaret E. Reeder circa 1944. Kenneth Earl Ressler died on 19 December 1999 at Wescosville, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, at age 78 years, 6 months and 24 days.
His obituary was published on 30 December 1999 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
A private service was held in Schnechsville for Kenneth E. Ressler, 78, of Wescosville, a native of Cogan Station, who died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at home. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Margaret E. Reeder.
He retired in 1983 after 35 years as owner/operator of the former Kenneth Ressler Trucking Co., Kuhnsville. Ressler was vice president of the Chapel Hollow Hunting Club, Cogan Station. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a son of John and Carrie Waltz Ressler.
Surviving are a son, Ronald L. of Allentown; a daughter, Judith A. Petran of Center Valley; two brothers, Clyde of Williamsport and Donald J. of Orefield; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey E; a daughter, Dawn E. McQuiken; three sisters, Hazel Snyder, Helen Snyder and Esther Lehman; and two brothers, Carl and Melvin.
