Clifford Edgar Fisher was born on 10 March 1917 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Harry Myers Fisher and Myrtle Winnie Greenaway.2,1 Clifford Edgar Fisher married, at age 29, Katherine Campbell, age 20, daughter of Frank W. Campbell and Josephine R. Carpenter, on Friday, 15 March 1946.1 Clifford Edgar Fisher died on 22 May 2002 at Sycamore Manor, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 85 years, 2 months and 12 days.1 He was buried in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
He was a farmer in 1960. His obituary was published on 22 May 2002 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Clifford E. Fisher, 85, of 2271 Windy Ridge Road, Cogan Station, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in Sycamore Manor. Born March 10, 1917, in Anthony Twp., he was a son of Harry M. and Myrtle W. Greenaway Fisher.
Clifford was engaged in farming his entire life and was a member of Pine Run Grange for over 50 years. He belonged to the Jersey Shore Odd Fellows for over 60 years and was a member of Quiggleville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Katherine Campbell, whom he married March 15, 1946; two daughters, Nancy E. Fodor of Dover, NH and Mary Ann Kovach of Newton, NH; two sons, David H. of Cogan Station and Floyd E. of Phoenix, AZ; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., with the Rev. Dr. Wayne L. Hepler officiating. Burial will be in State Road Cemetery. Friends may call at Sanders' from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Quiggleville United Methodist Church, 2055 State Route 973 West, Cogan Station, PA 17728.1
