     Rodney W. Doane was born on 10 January 1918 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Rodney C. Doane and Ida Elizabeth Gehr. Rodney W. Doane married, at age 28, Hazel Esther Wright, age 25, daughter of Charles Franklin Wright and Mary Esther Aderhold, on Thursday, 16 May 1946 at Hepburn Baptist Church, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 Rodney W. Doane died on 2 September 1969 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 51 years, 7 months and 23 days.1 He was buried in the Stoltz Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
