Mary Esther Aderhold

     Mary Esther Aderhold was born in November 1891 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Friederich Aderhold and Matilda [—?—]. Mary Esther Aderhold married, at age 24, Charles Franklin Wright, age 26, son of Henry Paxton Wright and Anna Elizabeth Ludwig, on Wednesday, 29 March 1916. Mary Esther Aderhold died on 20 July 1950 at Hepburnville, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 58 years and 8 months. She was buried in the Stoltz Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.¹
     Her obituary was published on 21 July 1950 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Mrs. Mary E. Wright, 58, wife of C. Frank Wright, of Hepburnville, died at her home at 1:30 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 1950, after an extended illness. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Helen E., at home; Mrs. Rodney Doane, Cogan Station; one grandchild and one brother, J. Edward Aderhold, Williamsport. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hepburn Baptist Church. The Rev. Lester C. Barton, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Stoltz Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at 1912 Memorial Avenue from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
