     Dinah Blakeslee was born on 14 August 1750 at New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut Colony, America.1,3 She was the daughter of Jesse Blakeslee and Deborah Todd.3 Dinah Blakeslee married William Bassett, son of William Bassett and Mabel Goodyear, circa 1770.1,2 Dinah Blakeslee died on 27 December 1834 at Watertown, Litchfield County, Connecticut, at age 84 years, 4 months and 13 days.1,3 She was buried in plot 834, in the Old Watertown Cemetery, located in Watertown, Litchfield County, Connecticut. The inscription reads: Mr. William Bassett died Oct. 9, 1807 aged 64 years. Mrs. Dinah, his relict (widow) died Dec. 27, 1834 aged 86 years.3
