Mrs. T. O. Cormack, 75, long time resident of the Mystic and Centerville communities, died at 5:40 p.m. yesterday, June 11, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alex Orr following a long period of illness.

Mrs. Cormack had been a semi invalid for many months but became critically ill only recently. Sarah Margaret Haney was born in Keosauqua (Van Buren County, Iowa) where she lived until her marriage to T. O. Cormack March 29, 1883. Then Mr. and Mrs. Cormack moved to the Mystic vicinity and to a farm near there and more than a quarter of a century ago moved to Centerville where they resided until Mr. Cormack's death and following that Mrs. Cormack continued here.

Three children were born to their union one of who, Grace, died in infancy. Surviving are Mrs. Alex Orr and Mrs. G. C. Roberts, both of this city.

Mr. Cormack preceded his wife in death March 23, 1923. Since that time Mrs. Cormack continued to reside at her home on Park avenue until her recent illness caused her to go to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Orr.

She is preceded in death by four sisters. Five brothers survive and are: W. H. Haney, of Milton, Frank, of Washington, Iowa, Charlie of Keosauqua, George, of Fort Madison, and Oscar, of Plymouth. Mrs. Cormack also leaves to mourn her death her grandson, Francis Orr, and great-grandson, Bobbie Orr, besides a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Cormack was a member of the Methodist church of this city, the Eastern Star and Golden Links Sunday School class. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services are to be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at the Beckner funeral home with the Rev. Paul H. Hicks, officiating and burial will be in the Elgin cemetery at Mystic.
