Elizabeth Jane Artis was born in December 1843 at Kentucky. She married, at age 20, Harding VanBibber, age 21, son of Ezekiel VanBibber and Susan Rice, on Sunday, 24 April 1864 at Greenup County, Kentucky.1 Elizabeth Jane Artis died on 2 November 1905 at Ohio at age 61 years and 11 months. She was buried in the Ridgewood Cemetery, located in Wellston, Jackson County, Ohio.
