George Franklin Washington Dorn was born on 8 January 1854 at Osage County, Missouri.1 He was the son of Louis Phillip Dorn and Anna Mary Fleck.1 George Franklin Washington Dorn married, at age 28, Barbara Ellen VanBebber, age 24, daughter of Granville P. VanBebber and Mary Lee, on Wednesday, 15 November 1882 at Jasper, Pawnee County, Missouri.1 George Franklin Washington Dorn died on 9 September 1935 at Tekamah, Burt County, Nebraska, at age 81 years, 8 months and 1 day.1
