Elizabeth McKenzie

     Elizabeth McKenzie was born in 1881. She was the daughter of [—?—] McKenzie and Amanda [—?—]. Elizabeth McKenzie married Edward Garfield VanBibber, son of David VanBibber and Minnie Eberwine, circa 1898. Elizabeth McKenzie died in 1938 at age 57 years.
     Elizabeth McKenzie was also known as Lizzie. Elizabeth's surname has also been spelled as McCullough. She and Edward Garfield VanBibber appeared on the census of 27 April 1910 at Terre Haute, 7th Ward, Vigo County, Indiana. Elizabeth McKenzie and Edward Garfield VanBibber appeared on the census of 6 January 1920 at Terre Haute, 7th Ward, Vigo County, Indiana. Elizabeth McKenzie and Edward Garfield VanBibber appeared on the census of 7 April 1930 at Terre Haute, 7th Ward, Vigo County, Indiana. Her obituary was published sometime in 1938 Her obituary stated:

     MRS. ELIZABETH VAN BIBBER

     Mrs. Elizabeth Van Bibber, 57 years old, 1406 Second avenue, died at 12:15 o'clock Thursday afternoon at St. Anthony's hospital. She is survived by the husband, Edward G; five daughters, Mrs. Marie Lowery, Mrs. Nadine Sharp, and Misses Edna, Marion and Virginia Van Bibber: two sons, David and George; one sister, Mrs. J.C. McCullough; two brothers, Frank McKenzie and Clint McKenzie, and one granddaughter. The body was removed to the Gillis funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
