David VanBibber

     David VanBibber was born on 6 May 1846 at Greenup County, Kentucky. He was the son of Ezekiel VanBibber and Susan Rice. David VanBibber married, at age 29, Minnie Eberwine, age 19 on Tuesday, 22 February 1876 at Greenup County, Kentucky. David VanBibber died on 25 December 1922 at Brazil, Clay County, Indiana, at age 76 years, 7 months and 19 days.
     His obituary was published sometime in December 1922 in the local paper, printed in Brazil, Clay County, Indiana. His obituary stated:

     BRAZIL, Ind. Dec. 26. --- David VanBibber, an old soldier and veteran plasterer of this city, dropped dead at his home at 120 East Morton street, early Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. VanBibber had been to Terre Haute where they spent Christmas with their son, Edward VanBibber, and family. Shortly after their return home Mr. VanBibber was seized with a severe attack of vomiting and died before a physician could reach him. The deceased was 76 years old and is survived by the widow, a son, Edward, and two daughters, Mrs. Frank McKinzie, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Chas. Decker, of Terre Haute.
