     Ada Norma Burden was born on 30 July 1905.1 She was the daughter of V. H. Burden and Myrtle Whetstone. Ada Norma Burden married, at age 23, Harold Raymond Kiess, age 27, son of Sidney Ellsworth Kiess and Amanda M. Koch, on Saturday, 1 June 1929 at Summit County, Ohio.1 Ada Norma Burden died on 17 June 1988 at Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio, at age 82 years, 10 months and 18 days.1
     She was widowed at age 43 by the death of Harold on 24 January 1949.1
