Carl N. Miller was born on 31 July 1943 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3 He was the son of Lawrence Miller and Hazel Stabley.2 Carl N. Miller married, at age 37, Joy Lea Kinley, daughter of Alvin Richard Kinley and Annabelle Bennett, on Sunday, 19 April 1981.2,1 Carl N. Miller died on 30 June 2005 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Mahoning Township, Montour County, Pennsylvania, at age 61 years, 10 months and 29 days.2,3 He was buried on 6 July 2005 in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
He graduated in 1962 from Williamsport Area High School, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 His obituary was published on 2 July 2005 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Carl N. Miller, 61, of 158 Losch Lane, Jersey Shore, died Thursday, June 30, 2005 in the Geisinger Medical Center at Danville as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident June 24, 2005, in Williamsport.
Carl was born July 31, 1943 in Williamsport, the son of Lawrence Miller and the former Hazel Stabley.
Carl is survived by his wife, the former Joy L. Kinley. They were united in marriage April 19, 1981.
He was a 1962 graduate of Williamsport High School. For many years, he was a member of the F& A.M. Lodge #106, Loyal Order of the Moose and the Watkins Glen Yacht Club. For nine years, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He and his wife Joy are the owners of M&M Transport Trucking and A.R. Kinley Garage and Sales.
Also surviving are two sons, Lawrence L. Miller of Jersey Shore and Troy A. Musser of Jersey Shore; one daughter, Chrisie D. Sholly of Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchildren, Myles T. Musser, Kelsie S. Musser, Amber E. Batzel, Angela L. Miller, Carly M. Sweeney, Loren L. Miller, Kayla L. Miller and Sean M. Ackerman. He also is survived by three great-grandchildren.
Carl was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Miller and a sister, Betty Morris.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Montoursville Cemetery. Family will provide the flowers and request that memorial contributions be made in his name to the Bottle Run Presbyterian Church, care of the Jersey Shore State Bank 115 S. Main St., Jersey Shore 17740.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Carl's last known residence was Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3
