Leonard Ulmer was born in 1818. He was the son of John Ulmer and Susanna Heinmann. Leonard Ulmer married Anna Bennet, daughter of Joseph Bennet, circa 1842. Leonard Ulmer died on 22 July 1890 at age 72 years. He was buried in the Washington Boulevard Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
