Solomon J. Ulmer was born on 22 July 1865 at Balls Mills, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Jacob A. Ulmer and Maria Heim. Solomon J. Ulmer married Mary Sharshal.2 Solomon J. Ulmer died on 15 November 1951 at Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, at age 86 years, 3 months and 24 days.2 He was buried in the Heim Cemetery, located in Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.
